THE DELIGHTS OF THE BRENTA

The workshop showcases the works of the most important European engravers of the 18th century (Gianfranco Costa, Vincenzo Maria Coronelli, and Johann Christoph Volkamer), serving as a sort of snapshot of the region to illustrate the changes that have taken place over time and to give students the opportunity to learn how to interpret the iconographic meaning of the works. An artistic interpretation of the work—which will be decorated and painted using various techniques—will allow each student to try their hand at an ancient Venetian artistic tradition.

Educational Level: Middle and High School

Duration: About 1 hour and a half
