Ferdinand Alexander Porsche was born in Stuttgart in 1935. He began attending industrial design classes but, rejected by the commission because he was considered to be of little talent, did not finish his studies. He began working in the family business, with the task of designing a car that was on par with the 356 model. Thus, in 1963, the Porsche 911 was born. “Butzi”, as Ferdinand Alexander was nicknamed, met Luigino Rossi during an Yves Saint Laurent fashion show in Paris. From this friendship, the idea of working together was born, giving life to two shoe models: F1 (Formula One) and GT (Gran Turismo). The silhouette of the shoe recalls the profile of the Porsche 911, while the sole reproduces the tread pattern of the Pirelli P6 tire, the one mounted on the sports car. These models, considered the first car-shoes, were re-proposed with different leather variants from 1978 to 2003 to satisfy the numerous fans of the car manufacturer.
