DONNA KARAN

“Donna Karan” is the brand created by the American designer Donna Faske. Born in 1948 in Long Island, she has been surrounded by the world of fashion since she was a child, with a mother who was a model and a father who was a tailor. After completing her studies at Parson’s School of Design in New York, she began working for Anne Klein & Co., where she became stylistic director in 1974 following the sudden death of the owner. In 1984, she launched her own brand: Donna Karan stands out for its clean and modern style, introducing the concept of the “seven easy pieces”: a wardrobe designed for the multifaceted modern woman, sometimes a mother, sometimes a worker, sometimes a wife, sometimes a friend.
