The Museo della Calzatura Villa Foscarini Rossi hosts the exhibition “Transparency, beyond the nature of things” until November 29th, featuring 17 shoes designed by students of the Politecnico Calzaturiero di Vigonza, who have given shape and substance to their idea of ​​transparency, taking inspiration from the stained glass windows of ancient churches, from sea foam, from metamorphosis, sometimes looking at the mosaics of Antoni Gaudì or architectural styles such as brutalism, in a constant search for the balance of shapes.
Each interpretation is unique, personal, but the pieces on display are able to communicate together, transmitting their meaning to the observer.
The students of the Fashion Shoes Coordinator course had the opportunity to collaborate with the Istituto Abate Zanetti of Murano, the Museo della Calzatura Villa Foscarini Rossi and the MUVE Accademy. The first was invaluable to the course attendees during the design part, as they were able to integrate an accessory made of glass into their creations, to further emphasize the concept of transparency that each shoe interprets.
Unique in its kind, the Abate Zanetti Technical Institute is the first in Italy to focus on glass production and, between innovation and tradition, offers its students the opportunity to experience first-hand this form of creating ancient art, which, as can be seen in Trasparenza, enhances both the creative and practical aspects of the finished product.
The project was born from the meeting of the Footwear Museum with the Polytechnic Footwear Institute, the first making its content and historical knowledge available so that they could be a continuous source of inspiration for designers, whose works are now visible to the public in the central hall of the Museum.
The temporary exhibition is on the ground floor of the Museum. Visiting hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00. Last admission is scheduled for 17:00.
On the occasion of the first blooming of the Arco di Rose and the reopening of the Museo della Calzatura, we are organizing an evening of Art, Fashion, Shopping and Champagne.

To make the event unique and exclusive, we have thought of a Temporary Outlet in the Salone degli Affreschi: a Red-Carpet moment of beauty, lightness and entertainment.
