On Sunday, November 10th, Villa Foscarini hosts the event “The Villa, the Wine and Venice: a journey to discover the territories of the Serenissima,” promoted by the Consorzio Vini Venezia in collaboration with the Associazione Ville Venete (THE VILLA, THE WINE, VENICE – Consorzio Vini Venezia).

The event is part of a series of three Sunday appointments held in different locations with the aim of enhancing the elegance and beauty of the Venetian Villas and the excellent wine products of the territory. The selection of wines for tasting will be curated by the Ais Veneto Association.

The entire initiative aims to promote wine and its connection with the villas, thus becoming a privileged opportunity to explore various themes. Villa Foscarini Rossi, in fact, offers three guided tours of the fascinating Footwear Museum, a company museum founded by the Rossi family that exhibits the most exemplary models produced by the Rossimoda shoe factory. Rossimoda was a licensed manufacturer of women’s footwear for most of the international high fashion and luxury brands starting from the 1960s. Today, the company is part of the LVMH luxury group.

The cost of the visit is €15 and includes a guided tasting of the denominations of the Consorzio Vini Venezia. Participation in the event will be donated to the Associazione Ville Venete, a partner of the project.

To participate in the event, it will be necessary to register via the Eventbrite platform.

On this occasion, the Footwear Museum will follow special opening hours: it will be open to the public from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
