We tell the story of the villa in a clear, understandable and accessible way to everyone. The Veneto Region has created a series of guides in C.A.A. (Augmentative Alternative Communication), to allow each visitor to enjoy a unique heritage such as that of the Venetian villas, through clear information and simple narrations.
3 communication codes – images, words and symbols – are harmoniously integrated.
In the C.A.A. guide we find:
A brochure for everyone, a valid travel companion useful for children with Specific Learning Disorders, with cognitive difficulties or who have not yet acquired the ability to read and write, for children and adults whose mother tongue is not Italian, for people with cognitive disabilities and autism, but also for elderly people and foreigners who need easy reading.
The initiative is funded by the Tourism Directorate of the Veneto Region as part of the European project Tourism4All (Interreg Italy-Croatia program) with the aim of strengthening the inclusiveness and accessibility of the travel experience, for everyone.
The C.A.A. guide is available in paper format inside the villa and in pdf format.
Villa Padronale:
| Free admission | Entry is free, even for the accompanying person; |
| Museum entrance and exit | There is a step at the entrance of the museum, the museum staff is available to help guests and on request you can put the platform; |
| Map of the museum | On the ground floor of the museum is exposed the tactile map of the complex of Villa Foscarini Rossi and the 3D model of the Manor House; |
| Internal mobility | There is no elevator, so the first floor can only be accessed by stairs; |
| Toilets | On each floor of the structure there are toilets; |
| Parking | We recommend it in the center of Stra or along via Nazionale. In the private car park of Villa Foscarini Rossi there are dedicated parking spaces, and you can access them from via Nazionale 7 or Via Doge Pisani 1 (upon request by phone or mail); |
| Animals | Small pets are allowed, provided they are kept on a leash. |
Guesthouse:
| Entrance and exit | It is accessible via a ramp from the cellar; |
| Internal mobility | The upper floors can be reached via the elevator; |
| Parking | There are dedicated parking spaces in the villa’s parking lot, accessed from Via Nazionale n. 7; |
| Toilets | There are on the ground floor, mezzanines and attic. The bathroom in the mezzanine is equipped and has a changing table. |
